In 1833 he was m to Eliza F Corey who was born in MA Feb 8, 1816 and the year following his union, removed to VT, where he settled in Arlington Township, Benning co, and remained on a farm there for ten years. Afterward he made his home for five years in White Creek twp, Wash co, and then removed in 1850 to MI, coming direct to Martin Twp, Allegan co,, and locating where he now resides...(unquote) --Also, Arlington, Benn co, VT and White Creek, Wash co, NY are only one step apart--across the border. And a border that has shifted slightly several times. --Also, James Hunt and Elizabeth (Cooper) Hunt lived in White Creek, very near border. |
